I do actually agree with the idea that meritocracy is a natural mechanism in healthy systems and that we will see that rebalancing. However, the idea that the meritocracy will be judged by empty suits with no technical skills is unlikely. What I’m saying is that executive and middle management functions in big tech are going to be squeezed to the point of incredible pain and discomfort of many that make 200-300k salaries.
It’s going to get really ugly for people that don’t possess technical skills.
